These words come from Mr. Kawahara, the CEO of Ippudo.
I like these words.

It’s not a pun about “getting older”. It means that people who face their own weakness and grow from it become nicer.

It’s when you bite human weaknesses and know down such thoughts as “I’m so miserable” that you grow up as a human being.

However, you can’t excuse your weaknesses.
Line up your “weaknesses” as stepping stones and become “a stronger self”.
CEO Kawahara says it’s okay to be weak and it’s wonderful to know about weakness.

I hope I can get older the same way.
